Q; I have this equipment and I am being asked by a client if it is a conductivity type unit.
A; Yes, By passing an electrical current from one pin to the other. The higher the moisture content, the lower the resistance and vice-versa. Measuring the resistance gives an estimate of the average moisture content.

Q - I would like to inquire on whether this product can be used to test the moisture content of drylining partition walls.
A - Yes this meter should be fine for testing drylining, it is suitable for use with most building materials including plaster, concrete and mortar.
