Q; I have always had a problem with my ph meters losing their calibration and having to calibrate them every sinlg e time before using them. How often do you think this would need to be calibrated? thanks for your help.
A; Generally speaking all pH meters require frequent calibration. I can all depend on how often you use them and what it is you are testing.

Asad

Q; Is the meter suitable for soil testing as well as water?
A; No, You generally can't use the same pH meter probe for liquids and solids. This unit uses a probe for liquids which consists of a fine glass bulb sensor. This would shatter if used on any solids.
Meters that use a spear tip probe are more suited to soil applications.

Q - You state the accuracy of the GonDo 7011 as being: ± 0.01 + 1 digit. By this do you mean ± 0.01 of a unit of pH?
A - The "1 digit", in this case, means 0.01 because the resolution of 7011 is 0.01.
Hence, the accuracy of 7011 is ±0.02.
