  2. Is this meter suitable for measuring sound of door slams through floor from neighbour's apartment?

    Posted by T on 19th May 2010

Q; Hi, I need a db noise meter sensitive enough & suitable to record the noise of repeatedly slamming doors from an insensitive neighbour so that I can take legal action against him please? Noise travels though his celing and into my apartment above. Does it have a data logging function so that I can present its measurements as evidence? And is it able to work continuously recording normal background sound and the peaks from the door bangs? Doors are slammed approximately once every twenty or so minutes while he's awake. Thank you very much for answering!#
A; For datalogging you will need to go for the CEM-8852 or the Tecpel DSL-331
