    Q - I'm interested in the Lutron SL-4030 sound meter. What do the different certificate options mean? (none, no and yes)

    A - The question is prompting you to either select, No (I don't want a calibration certificate) or Yes (I do want a calibration certificate)

    Q: Would I be legally compliant when using this meter to carry out workplace noise assessments?

    A: This sound meter can be supplied with a calibration certficate, allowing you to undertake sound surveys knowing you comply with the latest regulation. It is perfectly legal to be used, but you will need to log your results manually (or via the datalogging function if available) and then use the Online Exposure Calculator to determine if you are within the legal limits.
