Q: Does this metter record both studio flash lighting and also daylight/ambient lighting?
A: This meter will measure ambiente light but not flashlight. For studio flashlight you will need a photography light meter such as the Sekonic L-308S Flashmate

Q; When the main instrument is opened up, is it possible for the user to calibrate the illuminance ranges (assuming we have the reference lamps and the knowledge) ?
A; Sorry, but this unit doesn't allow for end user calibration.
