Hanna pH Gro Chek and Temperature Monitor - Ideal for Agriculture and Aquariums
The Hanna Gro Chek has a large dual-level, backlit LCD to give users instantaneous readings of both pH and temperature. The HI 99401 microprocessor provides for automatic calibration automatic buffer selection and automatic temperature compensation.
The pH Gro Chek (HI 99401) waterproof housing has been designed to meet the growers need and is well suited to withstand the aggressive environments found in agricultural and hydroponics applications. Measurements are highly accurate and can be verified with one or two calibrations. With a 12v DC power supply included with the meter, low battery failures are never an issue.
The interchangeable pH electrode has been specially designed to address the needs of growers. Its design guarantees greater clogging resistance in fertilizer solutions with high concentration of phosphate, nitrate, etc. This major improvement ensures longer life for your electrode !

slurry testing

Q: Is this product suitable for the testing of ceramic slurries? or which tester would you recommend?
A: The meter will be suitable but the probe might not be.
The probe is for watery type liquids with very little density.
You would probably have to invest in a stronger probe such as a spear tip for example.
