Product Questions

  1. temperature accuracy

Posted by Ashleigh on 10th May 2010

Q; Similarly to a previously asked question: Regarding the temperature accuracy, +/3% +/- 3C, what does the +/-3C mean? For example, for a reading of -6C, what would the formula be?
A; The +/- 3 degree C is the maximum acceptable tolerance range for this meter. That is +/- 3 degree of the displayed temp.

  2. Water testing temperature

Posted by Lee on 16th Mar 2010

Q: Please can you tell me if this is suitable for testing water temperature for Legionella purposes?

A: Yes, you will want to use an immersion probe.

Q: Also which type of probe does this come with?
    A bead (wire) type probe

Q: Also it states that the basic accuracy is +/3% +/-3°C.
A: The stated accuracy is the maximum error between 0 and 400C EG, At 20C, the maximum error would be 3/100 x 20 = +/- 0.6C

  3. Probes?

Posted by kenny on 24th Sep 2009

Q - Do you get any temperature probes & test leads?

A - Test leads and a K-Type temperature probe are included.
