Product Description
The Light function is used to measure luminance in the field. It is fully cosine corrected for the angular incidence of light. The light sensitive component used in the meter is a very stable, long life silicon diode.
The Humidity/Temperature use a humidity/semiconductor sensor and K type thermocouple.4 in 1 Multi-function environment meter is a cost-effective introduction to aid conformance to health and safety in the work place. It measures Sound Levels, Light Levels, Humidity (%RH) and Temperature. The LCD display has large digits and function indicators.

Q: You say that the equipment is not suitable for professional field work due to the meter not meeting IEC 61672 standards. This is for sound only. Does the lux meter application have to meet any standards for professional field work?
A: The only regulation we can find is EN61326-1.

A; Yes, but not on a professional level as the meter doesn't meet the IEC 61672 standard which is needed for industry use.

Q; Does this unit measure the PAR of light? And is the messuring nozzel water proof? Looking for a unit to messure the PAR inside my fish tank.
A; This unit measures in LUX, which is the main unit of measurement for light. The sensor isn't water proof so not recomended for fish tanks.
